~~ I'm Not A CHILD Anymore ~~

Once upon a time, there was a man named Rozen who, wanting to create the perfect girl (otherwise known as "Alice"), crafted a collection of dolls known as the Rozen Maidens. These were no ordinary dolls, however; each doll had a "Rosa Mystica"-- pretty much another name for a soul or a spirit that allowed them to move on their own. Unfortunately, not one of those dolls lived up to his expectation of Alice, and the Alice Game began. What is that? Simple. The dolls fight each other. The loser has to relinquish her Rosa Mystica to the victor. When one Rozen Maiden has collected all seven of them, meaning she has defeated her sisters, she will become Alice and will be able to be with "Father".

And now we move on to Hina Ichigo. The littlest and most childish of the sisters, she is the sixth Rozen Maiden. While she is highly adorable with her blonde curls, ribbons, little pink dress and big green eyes, preferring to talk about herself in third-person and often adding "na no" to the ends of her sentences, she is also very, VERY naive and selfish. For example, the dolls can fight at full strength when they have a human medium-- one who gives them their energy and strength to allow them to fight. When Shinku challenged her to an Alice Game, Hina Ichigo completely drained her medium, Tomoe, of strength, not noticing the great harm she was doing until it was almost too late. In order to save her life, she broke the contract and thus lost the right to ever be Alice. Shinku, however, allowed her to keep her Rosa Mystica, letting her tap into Jun's (Shinku's medium) power as well in order to stay moving. If something happens to Shinku that makes her unable to function as that link, Hina Ichigo will be affected as well.

Later on, that power source was cut off and Hina Ichigo eventually stopped moving when she used up the rest of her power, sending her Rosa Mystica to Shinku when that happened. (in the anime version, anyway) The manga version of her "death" is a bit more graphic and disturbing.

~~ Sixth ROZEN MAIDEN ~~

As stated before, Hina Ichigo can be bratty and selfish, prone to temper tantrums, crying fits or pouting when she's unhappy. She's VERY gullible (which Suiseiseki, another Rozen Maiden, has been known to take FULL advantage of) but she also has very good intentions. She doesn't want to fight in the Alice Game, feeling that it would be better if everyone could just smile and play together. Not that this makes her defenseless-- Hina Ichigo can fight with strawberry vines, generally using them to restrain her opponent. This kid seriously has a thing for strawberries; her favorite food is strawberry daifuku (or "Unyuu"). When she's not gleefully digging into that, she's drawing on anything and everything. Or plopped on top of someone's head like a hat (Islanders, beware, your heads are NOT SAFE). Or watching Detective Kunkun (a puppet show on TV) with Shinku and the other dolls. Or playing games. Or causing trouble (which ranges from accidentally starting fires to hitching rides on cats to declaring war against Suiseiseki). You get the picture.

She gradually becomes more mature but she was brought to the island before that maturity fully hits. Therefore, to sum it up, Hina Ichigo is very cute and childish with a playful streak and a good heart. And she's easily enthusiastic, which could be either a good thing or a VERY bad thing.
